What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Designer position at Aquent Talent?
Our client, a a prominent global toy and game company, is looking for a Packaging Designer to join their team for 6 months!
Primary Role Function :
Under the direction of the Creative Manager, this individual will concept, design and execute game packaging and in-package print collateral that communicates game play and brand messaging. You will be responsible for lead graphic design and execution of packaging and print collateral for 2026 line plan additions including backup support of all Game brands.
Key responsibilities :
60%) Design in-package graphics for board games, that includes :
- Utilizing team insights to guide item-level design decisions.
- Understanding brand strategy, as well as Marketing, Engineering and Design & Development objectives.
- Conceptualizing and presenting innovative concepts to meet brand-messaging objectives, deliver play experience and story.
- Executing instructions guides that effectively communicate game play.
- Executing in-package printed collateral (brochures, posters, cross-sells, activity sheets, etc.) that conveys strong visual branding and marketing message.
- Designing presentation deck, and possibly working on storyboard for game play video.
20%) Collaborate with development teams, that includes :
20%) Manage projects and delegate individual assignments, that includes :

Top 3 skills to have :
Proficient in Adobe Suit (PSD, AI, InD)
Have packaging and print / color management experience
Great in communication
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $29.75-32.50 / hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
