What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Cloud Engineer - Azure & Terraform position at Aquent Talent?
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Terraform, driving the design, automation, and management of our Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices. This role requires a proactive, self-directed professional who can quickly adapt to our environment and take ownership of critical cloud initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Develop and manage Terraform modules and scripts to automate provisioning and configuration across multiple environments
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to integrate infrastructure automation within CI / CD pipelines
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and security
- Contribute to and maintain code repositories using Git for version control
- Document processes and contribute to best practices for cloud automation and operations

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $57.27 to $63.64 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
