Software Engineer

Location: Des Moines, IA Expected to be in office all days of the week

We re looking for a Software Engineer to join our team that supports our client. In this role you will develop, test and release features such as Technical Manuals, Reprogramming, Diagnostics, Search, syncing local data with Cloud etc. meeting stringent DevSecOps guidelines This position will not be accountable for high level design and architecture, but will be expected to refine the designs provided by senior developers on the team.

Experience Demonstrated Work Projects having following skillsets

  Mandatory: Node JS, JavaScript, TypeScript

  Electron Framework Integration of web technologies with desktop functionalities, familiarity with main and renderer processes and managing IPC is critical

• \n

  Node.js Proficiency in Node.js and related backend development

  \n
\n
• \n

  UI/UX Working knowledge of CSS, React and integration with Electron apps

  \n
\n
• \n

  Proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript

  \n
\n
• \n

  Experience with embedded databases like SQLite

  \n
\n
• \n

  Experience with Automated Testing (Playwright) and implementing CI/CD pipelines

  \n
\n
• \n

  Security Principles (OAuth Authentication and Authorization best practices)

  \n
\n
• \n

  Core C skill would be nice but not required.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Good to have: Working knowledge of Search engines in a desktop application.
