What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative Director position at Aquent?
The In-Person Creative Designer is responsible for the holistic consideration of the in-person experience across all attendee touchpoints for key in-person events. These experiences will include creatively solving how our events (and corresponding in-person experiences) function as a collection of tactics that accomplish meeting our business objectives and driving key results. Equally important, this role will be responsible for keeping our audience at the center of planning events, and how we creatively meet their needs and goals across our in-person environments and spaces. This will include addressing human behaviors and desires in regards to surprise & delight, celebration, wayfinding / navigation, amenities, F&B, sonic and acoustic considerations. Lastly, this role is responsible for the direction the in-person execution of our Brand Love and DI&A initiatives and how they drive energy, excitement, culture, and community. This role will lead creative direction across 1st party flagship events, 3rd party industry events, and potential c-level events.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead the “in-person experiential creative process”
- Work closely with the “in-person experiential design process” (broader) to match :
- Timelines
- Workbacks & schedules
- Review deliverables
- Stakeholder dependencies
- Define, target, and leverage data sets to continue growing our understanding of audience related insights
- Partner with the measurement team to define where data can guide in-person creative across the experiential framework (pre-event).
- Partner with a data analysis SME to pull useful data and identify correlations that will inform a better understanding our how we creatively meet our attendee needs and goals.
- Participate in defining the structure for capturing qualitative data at events.
- Drive the creative approach to in-person events.
- Drive how our brand is represented across in-person experiences.
- Lead the DI&A requirements and tactics that we deploy across events.
- Act as the audience representative in the planning of event experiences, ensuring that their needs and goals are being met.
- Lead the audience journey narrative during reviews and planning cycles.
- Lead the creative process for developing event environments and the spaces.
- Lead / execute the creative concepting of experiences.
- Lead / execute the implementation / deployment of the event branding system across events.
- Lead / execute the identification of the audience groups within the audience journey narrative (based on modalities, locations, and segmentation).
- Manage production and logistics partnerships across creatively informed areas.
- Collaborate closely with ESC experiential leads and stakeholders.
