Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support employee investigations in a fast-paced, remote work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing investigations, preferably within the retail or a similar industry, and be a quick learner. You will be responsible for handling up to 15 employee investigations at a time, ensuring compliance and timely resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage employee investigations, handling up to 15 cases simultaneously.
- Conduct thorough fact-finding and gather necessary documentation for investigations.
- Work closely with HR leadership to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of investigations, including findings and resolutions.
- Provide guidance to employees and management regarding investigation procedures.
- Ensure timely and effective communication throughout the investigation process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and address employee concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when handling employee matters.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous HR Generalist experience, with a focus on employee investigations, preferably in the retail or similar industry.
- Skills: Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with remote work tools and HR systems.
- Flexibility: Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing situations and work independently.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, retail, or customer-service-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and legal compliance.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $25.00 to $30.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
