Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Media Director to support the genesis of a new client relationship. The Media Director will oversee all aspects of media planning, buying, optimization, and analytics, ensuring our campaigns deliver measurable outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in pharmaceutical marketing, cross-channel media strategies, vendor relations and an innovative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Media Leadership:
- Develop and oversee integrated media strategies across digital, traditional, and emerging platforms to meet client objectives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying innovative opportunities to enhance campaign effectiveness and drive client success.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic counsel to clients and internal teams on media planning and execution.
- Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Lead the end-to-end media planning process, ensuring campaigns align with client goals and KPIs.
- Oversee media planning, optimization, and performance tracking, ensuring all efforts are data-driven and ROI-focused.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, account management, and analytics, to deliver cohesive, well-organized, campaigns.
- Client and Team Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical clients, acting as a trusted advisor steward.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the media team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Manage team performance and professional development, ensuring high levels of engagement and output.
- Data and Analytics:
- Leverage analytics tools and platforms to track and report on media performance, deriving actionable insights to optimize campaigns.
- Present campaign results and recommendations to clients, demonstrating the value and impact of our companies Media’s strategies.
- Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure all media strategies and executions comply with pharmaceutical advertising regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to maintain adherence to compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- 8 years of media planning and buying experience, with a strong background in pharmaceutical or health and life sciences marketing.
- Proven track record of leading successful multi-channel media campaigns.
- Expertise in performance media, lead generation, and digital platforms.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar) and media buying platforms.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical advertising regulations and compliance.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 to $55 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
