Position Overview: The Drafter, while working closely with engineers and operations, is responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that support our operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- In all actions support Aquestia’s quality policies, safety policies and core company values of Fairness, Honesty, and Integrity.
- Develop detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from team members or clients to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and estimates by providing necessary drawings and schematics.
- Ensure all drafts adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and assemblers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drafts.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in CAD software including SolidWorks and Creo.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques.
- Minimum two years’ experience in drafting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must have ability to handle stressful situations.
- Must have a demonstrated strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection.
- May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds.
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
