Position Overview: The Warehouse Support Coordinator ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- In all actions support Aquestia’ s quality policies, safety policies and core company values of Fairness, Honesty, and Integrity.
- Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Receives and verifies counts of incoming parts from ARI vendors. Put parts away in designated inventory locations. Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
- Prepares shipments by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Documents weights and dimensions for shipments
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
- Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
- Performs cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate and reports discrepancies.
- Opens containers to sort and catalog materials.
- Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
- Load daily pick up – LTL/UPS
- Process inventory location transfers in ERP system.
- Looks up locations in ERP system for current location.
- Provides back up for the Warehouse Manager during absences.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in warehouse operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Suite and a variety of vendor software. Basic accounting skills required.
- Must exhibit the ability to troubleshoot and correct problems using critical thinking skills.
- Must exhibit interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to manage stressful situations.
- Previous forklift and pallet jack experience helpful.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection.
- May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds.
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
