What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/Receptionist position at AQUIA FAMILY MEDICAL CENTER?
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is compassionate, hard working and reliable. Must also be efficient in a fast paced environment with skills to multi task as well as capability to adjust and learn quickly. Job duties are as followed, but not limited to:
- Triage
- Venipunture
- Ekg
- vaccinations
- answering phones (multi-phone line)
- scheduling appointment
- verifying insurance
- prior authorizations
- medical records
- Scanning
- Faxes
- Medication Refills
Hours are varied weekly. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. (employee must be willing to come in 15 mins before opening of office, and stay later if work needs to be completed)
Education and Certification requirements:
High School Diploma
Medical Assistant Certification (a plus but not required)
