Description
The Pool Lifeguard (part-time) position at Aquila Fitness is responsible for promoting a safe pool environment for all members and guests and responding to any emergencies in or around the pool.
The pay rate for Pool Lifeguards is $16 per hour.
Responsibilities include :
- Modeling and promoting the standards of the club
- Adhering to all policies and procedures including but not limited to timeliness, codes of conduct, dress and timekeeping
- Enforcing pool policies and standards of safe conduct for all members and guests
- Inspecting the pool area for hazardous conditions and take appropriate steps to eliminate risks, including keeping the pool area free of clutter to eliminate a hazardous situation
- Testing and recording chemical readings every hour
- Recognizing emergencies and responding effectively; completing any necessary accident reports
- Attending all trainings to maintain the necessary skills required
- Ensuring all necessary equipment is present in the pool area and notifying the Manager if additional supplies are needed
