Fame is seeking a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across cloud development, production environments, security, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, proactive in addressing challenges, and ready to contribute to the ongoing success of our cloud initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, compute resources, and SaaS services.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
- Maintain system documentation and collaborate with engineers to develop blueprints for cloud environments.
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
- Support security compliance efforts by conducting security assessments, audits, and risk assessments, and recommend remediation measures to address vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
- Learn and apply cloud automation techniques.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure, virtualization, and networking (TCP/IP).
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Batch, and JSON.
- Azure Certified (AZ-900).
- Bachelor’s degree in CIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to implement system changes as needed.
