This position is responsible for recruitment, maintaining roster size, practice planning,
game scheduling, travel arrangements, student-athlete academic and athletic
performance, and budget management of the Aquinas College Men's Hockey Program
(ACHA - Division 3). This position will report to the Director of Hockey Operations.

Responsibilities/ Duties/Tasks/ Essential Functions
- Plans, organizes and develops athletic programming and activities of the
- Schedules all practice, scrimmages, and games.
- Meets all travel and game requirements.
- Builds a cohesive and competitive program.
- Recruits academically and athletically qualified full-time student-athletes to
- Hires, trains, and evaluates the performance of assistant coaches.
- Promotes the academic progress and graduation of student-athletes,
- Assists the athletic department with athletic issues as needed.
- Abides by the rules and regulations of the league in which the team
- Submits all required assignments on or before designated due dates.
- Reports any known violations or concerns to the administration
- Complies with all Athletic Department policies and procedures.
- Represents Aquinas College and the Athletic Department as a team player, a
- Attends regularly scheduled Athletic Department Staff meetings.
- Performs other job duties as required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Must have 3-5 years of advanced hockey coaching experience. College
- Must possess a valid CPR certification
- Must possess a valid State of Michigan Driver's License and be responsible

Salary : $18,000 - $20,000
