Aquinas Consulting has an immediate opening for a Project Data Technician job at a top Research and Development Facility located in the greater Danbury, CT area. This long-term role offers the opportunity to work in the R&D laboratory of a top international company. Tremendous growth potential for an early career candidate.
Project Data Technician Job responsibilities:
- Manage sample inventory. Manage incoming product inventory as required. Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Enter and analyze data based on specific requests.
- Use proprietary software to accurately retrieve data.
- Labeling, packing, and complete requests for shipping batteries, devices and materials.
- Utilize Lab Information Management system to submit samples and corresponding forms for testing, ensuring all references are complete and accurate.
- Manage current and future business testing on batteries including conducting electrical performance testing of product on battery test systems.
- Work independently and complete deliverables in advance of deadlines, with the ability to shift work focus to extended hours, when urgent matters arise.
- Be able to work cross functionally with associates from other departments to achieve desired goals, and to be able to demonstrate new skills and abilities when necessary to improve internal skill levels.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Chemistry, Mathematics, Data and/or Statistical analysis (AS degree and commensurate experience is acceptable)
- Superior organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness in all tasks and the ability to follow detailed direction.
- Can take direction and works well with others.
- Fluent in MS Office with a proven expertise in Excel.
- Familiarity with the PowerBI ecosystem, with the ability to navigate dashboards and pull data from reports.
- Exceptional manual dexterity with the ability to handle significant amounts of battery product and use electronic test equipment.
- Preferred to have previous Lab experience working in an R&D facility and strong background in data documentation.
- Ability to clearly communicate/present results and project status.
- Excellent Written & Verbal communication skills.
- Able to intuitively recognize trends in data to detect shifts, in either a positive or negative fashion.
- Team orientated with bias for inclusion and desire to check and balance.
