What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at Aquinas Consulting?
Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Quality Engineer in Bridgeport, CT. This Permanent hire job is available with one of our key customers in the consumer product company. In this role, you will primarily work within the engineering team to monitor quality products and processes. You must have an understanding of FEA and root cause analysis. You will be working on both new development and legacy products.
Quality Engineer responsibilities :
- Investigate non-conforming products or processes.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis on quality issues and assist in Corrective Actions; responsible for creating / managing Non-conformance reports (8D).
- Lead Management Review Board meetings (MRB).
- Investigate customer complaints and returns to identify root causes of failures and document findings.
- Monitors supplier quality performance and initiates programs to ensure suppliers meet Unger’s quality expectations.
- Involved in new product development projects as a quality lead.
- Lead risk assessment analysis.
