Aquinas Consulting is seeking a Senior Design Engineer job for our direct client. In this role, you will design hydraulic test equipment for the global aerospace industry. You will lead and coordinate the design of hydraulic test stands, including complex hydraulic circuits, component selection, and test / control systems. This position requires strong leadership skills and at least five years of experience in fluid power system design.
Senior Design Engineer Job Responsibilities :
- Ensure the overall success of hydraulic test stand design projects.
- Design hydraulic systems, circuits, manifolds, and fixtures, including selecting valves, pumps, transducers, and other components.
- Size hydraulic tubing and hoses while working with various fluid mediums.
- Develop physical layouts and oversee tooling / adapters required for testing components.
- Perform equipment checkouts, verify calibration, and conduct factory acceptance tests.
- Review test procedures, create parameter matrices, and determine instrumentation requirements.
- Provide direction to design resources and support fabrication and assembly.
- Present design packages to customers and attend design reviews and equipment commissioning.
