Aquinas Consulting is seeking to fill a Tax Manager job for our client’s corporate headquarters. Reporting to the Tax Director, this role is responsible for tax compliance, tax planning, and accounting for income taxes. The Tax Manager will collaborate with management, business units, service providers, and other tax professionals to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies.
Tax Manager job Responsibilities :
- Oversee the preparation and completion of federal, international, and state income tax returns.
- Manage use tax and property tax functions.
- Lead audits for federal and state income tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with ASC 740 for income tax accounting in U.S. and international subsidiaries.
- Manage transfer pricing and management fee arrangements.
- Collaborate with international subsidiaries on global tax compliance.
- Supervise and mentor professional tax staff.
- Act as a liaison with operating management on tax issues and accounting staff on tax-related matters.
- Maintain and oversee internal controls for income tax accounting.
- Work with IT staff on tax application technology and technical tax matters.
- Assist executive management with corporate tax planning strategies.
- Support the Corporate Controller in estimating and monitoring annual cash taxes.
- Assist with global M&A activities, including structuring and due diligence.
