Title: Assistant Superintendent

About the Role |
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for planning and managing the construction site to ensure that the work is completed to safety and quality standards and stipulated contractual obligations. Utilizing knowledge of building methods, materials, and sequencing, the Assistant Superintendent provides daily oversite to direct the activities of Company and subcontractor personnel. The Assistant Superintendent may be assigned to a specific scope within a large project, or they may be the lead superintendent on smaller engagements ranging from $500k to $2m. |
Skills & Qualifications |
· Or, 3 or more years of construction project work experience with a high school diploma or GED, including a minimum of 2 years as a field supervisor |
Primary Duties |
· Analyze construction problems and develop practical alternative solutions |
Physical Requirements |
Must be physically fit enough to function safely on a project site and office setting. This includes the following:
· Frequently exposed to weather (occasionally extreme cold, extreme heat, wet, and/or humid, exposure to dust and fumes, and working in highly exposed places) |
