Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of property maintenance, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires effective management of tenant relations, property maintenance, and compliance with legal regulations, including Section 8 housing guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, ensuring high standards of service and maintenance.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions for property needs.
- Oversee tenant relations, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly to maintain tenant satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Maintain accurate records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws related to property management and tenant rights.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote available units and enhance occupancy rates.
- Prepare and manage budgets for property operations, including forecasting expenses and revenue.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and vendors.
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing regulations is preferred.
- Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to property management is a plus.
- Ability to effectively negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Experience in property maintenance or facilities management is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using property management software and CMMS tools.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
