Shipping Clerk (2nd Shift)

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our distribution center. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Duties

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are accurately logged and tracked.
• Utilize AS400 software for inventory management and order processing.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move products safely within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill e-commerce orders, ensuring accuracy in stock selection.
• Maintain an organized stock area to facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.

Experience

• Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with e-commerce processes and order fulfillment is a plus.
• Experience using MRP systems or similar inventory management software is beneficial.
• Skills in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment are highly valued.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
