Software Engineering Supervisor Position Requirements
- US Citizenship
- The nature of work (i.e. interactions with the intelligence community and DoD programs) requires eligibility to apply for and hold a US security clearance; selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements at the time of employment
- BS, MS, or PhD in engineering, computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or a closely related field with 8-10 years of relevant work experience OR MS with 6-8 years of relevant work experience
- Previous leadership experience (project and/or management experience) leading large groups of technical staff (>10); understands what an effective employee looks like and how to address issues related to performance management
- Strong software engineering / development background (native and / or full stack); passionate about best practices
- Attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Team player with excellent presentation and written / oral communication skills
- The optimal candidate will split their time between personnel management and execution on technical projects
- Occasional travel may be required depending on the candidate’s technical project role. Typical travel is 1 week every 3 months on average.

- Experience with agile processes (scrum and / or kanban)
- Project management experience
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new domains
- Prior experience working on intelligence and DoD programs
