Creative DesignerDepartment : Arab American National MuseumLocation : Dearborn, MISTART YOUR APPLICATION ()Job Title : Creative DesignerJob Status : Full-time (Hybrid)Job Summary : Under general supervision, the Creative Designer will be responsible for the execution of high-quality visual assets across all mediums while also contributing to the overall creative direction. The Creative Designer will be at the forefront of our brand's visual strategy, crafting compelling designs that resonate with our audience, elevate our brand identity, and ensure a cohesive visual identity across the organization-s events, collateral, campaigns, and programs. This role requires a balance of creative thinking and design execution, ensuring that the organization-s visual presence is engaging, culturally relevant, and aligned with its mission.Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Lead the development of innovative visual concepts that reflect and elevate the department-s brand and programmingCollaborate with the team to bring fresh design ideas and creative vision to campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional initiativesEnsure visual consistency across all touchpoints, including social media, print, digital advertising, and onsite brandingExecute high-quality, on-brand design work, including but not limited to social media graphics, website assets, email templates, print and exhibition materialsTake ownership of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and brand guidelines are metProduce multimedia content such as short videos or motio graphics, as needed, to support marketing effortsProblem-solve visual challenges quickly and effectively, ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced environmentWork closely with marcomms and organizational partners to design content that drives audience engagement and supports social media campaignsEvolve visual identity as appropriate and maintain brand guidelinesParticipate in brainstorming sessions to develop visually compelling campaignsOperate standard office equipment and use required software applicationsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Knowledge of : Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design toolsExperience with motion graphics, video editing, multimedia content creation is a plusArab American culture and historyProficiency in Arabic language a plusArabic design principlesSkill in : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a teamStrong portfolio displaying a range of design workStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategicallyMeticulous attention to detail, ensuring all designs are polished and error-freeAbility to : Demonstrate ability to take a project from concept through to execution with minimal oversightMultitask multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of brand identity and the ability to maintain visual consistency across platformsPartner with other functional areas as well as external business partners to accomplish objectivesPresent and articulate design concepts clearlyAdapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentEducational / Previous Experience Requirements : Minimum Degree Required : Bachelor-s degreeRequired Disciplines : Graphic or Visual Design, Web Design, or a related field~or~At least 3-4 years- experience in a design role, preferably with experience in print, digital and experiential, related design experience or any equivalent combination of experience, education and / or training approved by Human ResourcesDemonstrated graphic design experience via portfolioLicenses / Certifications : Licenses / Certifications Required at Date of Hire : NoneWorking Conditions : Hours : Normal business hours, some additional hours may be requiredTravel Required : Local travel may be requiredWorking Environment : Climate controlled officeSTART YOUR APPLICATION ()
