Commercial Lines Account Manager
Responsibilities:
- Maintain assigned Producers’ current book of business and market new business.
- Handle renewals and new business quoting.
- Review Expiration Lists.
- Market to insurance carriers.
- Consistently verifying Applied Epic is updated/cleaned up.
- Maintain client relations by aiding client questions.
- Prepare Proposals and Summaries of Insurance.
- Update Renewals Manager.
- Handle higher lever change requests.
- Handle higher level Certificates of Insurance.
- Review and update activity list daily.
- Delegate tasks when appropriate to CSR’s.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system.
- Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise, answer questions, and participate in formal and informal meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Property & Casualty License required
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial insurance account management experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Applied Epic highly desired; will consider other agency management systems
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and usages
- Knowledge of insurance coverage and an ability to communicate clearly to clients and underwriters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor & positive attitude
- Detail-oriented to handle multiple clients, tasks and requirements
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (Hybrid Work Schedule)
