Job Responsibilities
Supervision & Training: Utilize your food service experience to guide inmates in food preparation and tray assembly, ensuring adherence to Aramark standards.
Efficient Operations: Coordinate and assign work to promote operational efficiency.
Quality Control: Review and approve production and temperature logs, ensuring timely and efficient meal service.
Recipe Management: Print and distribute recipes, and train inmates on proper cooking procedures.
Security & Safety: Adhere to security policies, ensure storage areas are locked, and maintain a safe working environment.
Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control, receiving, and storing food items, and requisition orders as needed.

Qualifications
- Previous supervisor experience in a related role preferred
- Experience as a cook or related role required
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision required
- Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
- Food safety certification required
- Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
