Job Responsibilities
- Ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized according to Health Department Codes and Aramark standards.
- Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
- Assists with Receiving deliveries from vendors and inspects goods, verifying quality of goods, order accuracy and completeness.
- Maintains available inventory in the café of available items for purchase, communicating items low on inventory timely to guarantee timely ordering.
- Accurately operates the cash register/POS during peak café service hours by processing cash and credit card transactions.
- Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits
- Adheres to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co- workers, etc.
- Ensures security of company assets
- Adheres to the uniform policy.

Qualifications
- Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation and safety procedures.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Basic math & counting skills required
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
- Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location
- Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
