Outdoor Recreation Leader
Aramark is seeking an experienced Campground Attendant to join our team at Zephyr Cove Resort in Lake Tahoe. As a key member of our outdoor recreation team, you will be responsible for leading guests on educational excursions and providing exceptional customer service.
About the Job
This is a seasonal position that requires a passion for nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for greeting guests, providing orientation, and ensuring their safety while participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and horseback riding.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead guests on organized and educational excursions
- Provide leadership and training for junior guides
- Greet guests and provide orientation on safety procedures and equipment use
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure guest safety
- Educate yourself on local ecology, geology, history, and culture to provide informed interpretation
Requirements
- Training in First Aid protocols such as Wilderness First Responder or EMT/Paramedic preferred
- Extensive experience guiding in outdoor environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing situations
