Job Description
The Carpenter I is responsible for continuous monitoring of all public areas, making repairs to walls, cleaning areas, changing ceiling tiles, and other associated tasks to provide a clean, comfortable, and pleasing atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers; is responsive to customer needs.
- Promptly makes repairs and initiates corrective action.
- Responsible for timely completion of all work requests.
- Performs general maintenance, repair, overhaul, and construction duties.
- Provides repairs to damaged walls and public areas.
- Performs routine maintenance to ensure equipment functionality and patient, employee, and guest safety.
- Conscientiously inspects equipment throughout the building complex.
- Completes reporting documentation for accurate record-keeping.
- Accurately accounts for productive time using the work request process.
- Maintains technical skills for maintenance and repairs.
- Maintains compliance with Aramark's standards, regulations, and codes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years' experience as a Carpenter/Painter required.
- Three years' experience in carpentry, drywall, painting, millwork, and mechanical equipment/systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
- Ability to work under time constraints.
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions.
