Job Description
Aramark Destinations in Anchorage Alaska is seeking a Controller for Financial oversight of our Destination properties in Denali National Park and Glacier Bay National Park. The Alaska Controller is responsible for overseeing the preparation of monthly financial statements and the management of the Accounting Group. The position will report monthly accurate financial records, ensure we comply with financial regulations GAAP, and provide oversight for internal controls.
Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements and analysis must be prepared on a monthly basis.
- Preparation other financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts, and compliance reports.
- Produces the annual budget and forecasts-works with all departments to produce annual budgets and forecast.
- Assist management with important financial decisions.
- Builds, develops, and manages the accounting team and accounting operations.
- Management of external audits.
- Recommends and develops policies, procedures, and internal controls, in conjunction with the various operating groups within the company to meet company objectives.
- Monitor a company’s financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs.
- Understand the financial status of a company to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing.
