**About the Job:**
We are looking for a highly skilled Cook to join our team at The Lodge at Bryce Canyon. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and production guidelines.
**Responsibilities include:**
- Cooking and preparing food items according to established procedures
- Setting up workstation with necessary ingredients and equipment
- Preparing ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Safely using utensils and operating equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, and using various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
- Arranging, garnishing, and portioning food according to established guidelines
- Properly storing food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
- Experience as a cook or in a related role required
- Validated knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Demonstrated basic math and counting skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
