About the Role
The Food Service Worker at Aramark is responsible for assisting the manager with food/meal preparation, maintaining cash receipts and meal records, and completing daily reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
- Assist the manager in verifying transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Serve food according to meal schedules and department policies
- Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner
- Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
Requirements:
- Fitness to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- Able to work quickly and concisely under pressure
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
