The Security Specialist is responsible for providing top-notch security services to our guests and employees. This includes:
•Patrolling buildings and surrounding property to detect potential security risks
•Monitoring camera systems, alarm systems, and access control systems to prevent unauthorized entry
•Responding to emergency situations and collaborating with local authorities as needed
•Conducting investigations into incidents and preparing accurate reports
•Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
•Ensuring the security of company assets and preventing theft or loss
•Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all visitors feel welcome and secure during their stay
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
•Previous experience as a security officer or in a related field
•Ability to gather and interpret information and accurately complete required reporting procedures
•Knowledge of search and seizure, constitutional rights, investigative techniques, and interviewing techniques
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
•Ability to maintain confidentiality in all investigations and incidents
•Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, and climb stairs as needed
