What are the responsibilities and job description for the GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDENT AMBASSADOR position at ARAMARK?
JMU Dining is looking for a liaison between campus dining and the university by promoting dining services events and services. We seek influential individuals who use direct, high-touch, non-traditional interaction to solidify branding while getting real-life experience working with an amazing team.
The Graphic Design Student Ambassador will report to the JMU Dining Graphic Designer and work closely with the marketing team to support dining programs and services.
Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.
- Job Responsibilities
- Assignments will primarily include graphic design support with print and digital assets for special events and social media ads
- Stay up to date with design trends and updates
- Support communications and marketing goals by working alongside event planning, marketing, health & wellness, and sustainability coordinators
- Physical Demands : Specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform work, such as agility, dexterity, and long periods of walking, standing, bending, and carrying or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 10 pounds or more.
- Any other reasonable requests as detailed by management and in tandem with the marketing coordinator
- Qualifications
- Must have a portfolio demonstrating your abilities in design, typography, color theory, and layout
- Comfortable with Adobe Create Suite and previous graphic design experience preferred
- Passionate about crafting engaging designs and interested in growing as a well-rounded designer
- Comfortable giving and receiving design feedback
- Reliable and dependable team player ready to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter that can take basic instruction while working with autonomy
- Demonstrate a creative eye for design that promotes JMU Dining?s brand and the university?s values
