Job Description
The Snowcat Operator is responsible for the safe execution of grooming and maintenance of the Zephyr Cove Resort (ZCR) snowmobiling trails and communicating trail status and conditions to ZCR staff. Operators in this position must hold a current certification with a major manufacturer or several years of experience operating a snow cat or similar machinery.
Job Responsibilities
- Must complete a daily vehicle inspection form prior to operating and after finishing their route.
- Maintain a safe and accessible trail system and communicate any concerns to management.
- Maintain equipment, including cleaning snowcat at the end of shifts, and communicate equipment
conditions to appropriate staff.
