Job Description
Aramark is seeking a talented and passionate Specialty Asian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing a variety of Asian cuisines, including but not limited to Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese dishes. The Specialty Asian Chef will be responsible for creating authentic and innovative dishes that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare a diverse range of Asian dishes, ensuring authenticity and high quality.
- Design and update menus to reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on Asian cooking techniques and recipes.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new and exciting menu items.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control measures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns or feedback.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Specialty Asian Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
- 3 years of experience in heavily concentrated authentic Asian Cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of various Asian cuisines and cooking techniques.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
