Position description
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Paralegal to join our Downstream Law team within the Law Organization of Saudi Aramco.
The Law Organization at Saudi Aramco is responsible for providing legal counsel and advisory services to Saudi Aramco’s business units, subsidiaries, and joint ventures. The Paralegal’s primary role is to support the performance of legal activities within a specifically assigned functional area and assist their assigned attorneys in the performance of their duties.
Minimum requirements
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized and approved university. In addition, a Paralegal Certification from a recognized national organization is highly preferred.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of diversified experience with a law firm or in-house practice that is transactional & commercial in nature – specifically with respect to M&A, JVs, asset management, shareholder support, and sales and supply agreements. Experience in the oil and gas, refining, chemicals, power or other energy-related industries is a plus.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
- Support assigned attorneys with asset management, structured transactions, shareholders support, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Prepare, review and process basic corporate law documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements.
- Organize due diligence materials, filings, and closing documents.
- Conduct research, gather facts and create draft forms for attorneys.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising attorneys.
