Job Description
Aramsco, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and energetic team player to join its family of companies as an Inventory Control Analyst.
The company is a leading solutions provider to specialty contractors across North America, serving numerous end markets including abatement, restoration, environmental, emergency preparedness, stone care, cleaning and surface preparation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and Target Buyers: Research and develop relationships with wholesale buyers, liquidators, and discount retailers to sell overstock and surplus products.
: Collaborate with inventory and sales teams to implement sales strategies that minimize inventory holding costs and maximize revenue. - Negotiate Pricing: Work with buyers to negotiate competitive pricing on overstock products, ensuring profitability while clearing excess stock.
- Monitor Inventory Levels: Work closely with the inventory & sales teams to stay updated on overstock items and identify new liquidation opportunities.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends in overstock sales and opportunities to increase profitability.
- Sales Management: Track sales performance and provide regular updates and reports to management on liquidation efforts and outcomes.
- Compliance: Ensure that all sales and liquidation activities comply with company policies and regulations, including pricing and contractual terms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and logistics to ensure smooth liquidation operations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with existing buyers while continuously identifying and reaching out to new prospects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3 years of experience in sales, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably within wholesale, liquidation, or discount retail.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven track record in managing surplus inventory sales.
- Ability to analyze market data and implement effective sales strategies.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with wholesale and liquidation markets, sales best practices, and inventory management software/ERP systems.
