SUMMARY:
The Account Planner is the primary point of contact between clients, sales representatives, and internal teams. This role manages client projects from initiation to completion, ensuring the highest standards of communication, planning, and execution. The Account Planner works collaboratively with estimating, scheduling, procurement, and production teams to deliver results aligned with client expectations and company goals.
This role sits in our Menomonee Falls, WI or our Maple Grove, MN location and is cross posted with only one (1) opening. The salary range is $60,000-70,000 annually highly dependent on experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:
- Serves as the voice of the client and Sales Representatives within the company.
- Maintains proactive communication with clients regarding project updates, milestones, and potential constraints.
- Identifies and resolves issues while escalating complex matters to leadership when necessary.
- Reviews and interprets project specifications and communicates requirements across departments.
- Collaborates with estimating, scheduling, and procurement departments to align resources with project needs.
- Creates accurate production instructions and monitors progress throughout the production areas of premedia, press, bindery, and logistics.
- Partners with clients to develop solutions for resource or timeline constraiclnts.
- Oversees the execution of projects, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
- Provides guidance to clients on distribution plans, mailing logistics, and inventory management.
- Works closely with sales, production, and client services teams to ensure seamless workflows.
- Identifies process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Four (4) years of accredited courses in Graphic Communications or Business Administration or related printing industry experience (required).
- Ability to utilize logic and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Responsive to after-hours manufacturing questions, when necessary.
- Availability to respond to after-hours inquiries when necessary.

The employee works indoors in both office and production environments. Additionally, the incumbent will work near moving mechanical parts and in high places. He/she will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is frequent noise in the work environment.
