What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mailing Services Representative position at Arandell?
SUMMARY:
The Mailing Services Representative works with external and internal clients to ensure a clear understanding of the client’s mail data processing instructions. Accurately communicates data to Mail Processing and Manufacturing groups. Provides client services support by obtaining or exchanging requested data or information between Customer Service professionals, Salespersons, or direct to clients to assure timely completion of projects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:
- Coordinates mailing services and mailing activities for the client’s catalogs.
- Communicates necessary information to the Client, Client Services, Sales, and Arandell Distribution utilizing established systems.
- Obtains Bindery information including bind date, inkjet system, inkjet format, information to inkjet, and inkjet placement.
- Provides instructions to the service bureau and/or client regarding the placement of mail.
- Creates initial job confirmation, grids, and data placement layouts for client’s review.
- Creates mailing instructions and internal purchase orders.
- Provides the Mail Processing department with the necessary instructions and documents.
- Reviews documents provided by the Mail Processing department.
- Sends simulations to client for approval before release of the inkjet file to production and provides inkjet samples as needed.
- Provides the accounting department with a final invoice for Mail Services performed.
- Maintains positive customer relations approach towards visitors, customers, and employees. Apply Arandell Corporation philosophy in dealing with internal and external publics.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- College degree or a combination of education and work experience.
- Familiarity of postal knowledge and current presort software.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to communicate well.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast past environment.
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.
- Demonstrate flexibility as job requirements change.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The employee works indoors in both office and production environments. Additionally, the incumbent will work near moving mechanical parts and in high places. He/she will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is frequent noise in the work environment.
