The Manager of Procurement is responsible for overseeing the company's procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, and optimizing our sourcing to support growth, innovation, and sustainability goals. Will work closely with management and cross-functional teams to drive long-term supplier relationships, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance the operational efficiency of our manufacturing and procuring processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM :
- Strategic Procurement Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy, vision, and goals that aligns with company goals, supports production needs, and drives cost efficiencies across our catalog printing and manufacturing operations across multi-plant facilities.
- Supplier Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors, focusing on collaboration, performance improvement, and innovation.
- Sustainability & Certifications : Ensure that all procurement activities comply with sustainability goals and environmental standards, including maintaining current green certifications (e.g., FSC, SFI, PEFC, Green Seal, etc.). Oversee the company’s continued adherence to relevant industry certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance and improving our sustainability efforts.
- Actively promote and practice safe work behaviors by following all company safety policies and procedures and attending and participating in all company sponsored safety events and activities.
- Market Analysis & Trend Identification : Stay informed on industry trends, raw material costs, and technological advancements to inform procurement decisions. Provide strategic recommendations for sourcing, cost-saving initiatives, and the introduction of new materials or processes. Lead a team to develop long-term procurement strategies that align with organizational priorities and market trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with the operations, sales, logistics and manufacturing teams to align procurement with production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements. Provide expertise in evaluating material specifications and ensuring timely delivery.
- Team Leadership & Development : Mentor procurement team, ensuring professional development, clear goals, and collaboration across departments.
- Reporting & Analytics : Provide senior management with regular procurement reports, market insights, and performance metrics. Track KPIs related to supplier performance, cost reductions, and sustainability initiatives.

The employee works indoors in both office and production environments. Additionally, the incumbent will work near moving mechanical parts and in high places. He / she will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is frequent noise in the work environment.
