As the Payroll Analyst, this person will be responsible to master the administration of the Company’s payroll processing function. Provides high-level technical and administrative support to members of the Payroll and Human Resources team; handles confidential information and manages multiple priorities within a fast paced environment. Responsible for day to day operations of all phases of the Payroll Information Systems and related accounting functions. Responsible for assuring the integrity and accuracy of payroll data.
WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM :
- Responsible for processing hourly payroll of union and non-union associates.
- Set up and make changes for direct deposits, W-4’s, garnishments, child supports, union dues, union pension, and uniform charges in Kronos.
- Time entries for office hourly employees in Kronos Timekeeper.
- Manual adjustments and calculations of garnishments and child supports, and other deductions including insurance, shuttle tickets, safety equipment, and uniforms during payroll processing.
- Print checks / direct deposits and sort for distribution.
- Run payroll reports and data interfaces as need to send to banks and other third party providers
- Prepare journal entries.
- Prepare check requests for garnishments.
- Maintain garnishment balances.
- Communicate with child support agencies and attorneys regarding questions, balance updates and to report employee terminations.
- Union dues check off and request for payment.
- Weekly union pension reports with monthly request for payment.
- Process unemployment verifications.
- Complete verification of employment.
- On demand (manual) check processing.
- Track union increase progressions and process by contract pay increases.
- Assist employees with questions regarding their check, hours, and deductions.
- Calculate vacation payouts for terminated employees.
- Set up new hires in manufacturing system.
- Process state of WI new hire reporting.
- Assist with printing, sorting and distributing W-2s.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :
The employee works indoors in both office and production environments. Additionally, the incumbent will work near moving mechanical parts and in high places. He / she will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is frequent noise in the work environment.
