What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pressroom Manager position at Arandell?
The Pressroom Manager is responsible for the profitable operation of the Pressroom. You will establish, implement, and evaluate company-wide objectives with timetables for the improvement of all phases of the Pressroom operations. This will be in coordination with the objectives established by other departmental manager’s and Vice President of Manufacturing. You will also be responsible for resolving issues, supervising, and encouraging employee participation in problem resolution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM

- Establish and maintain quality control standards and measuring methods.
- Identify and utilize Press chemicals and consumables in the most cost-effective manner without compromising quality.
- Supervise, places controls, and evaluates the operation and performance of the department.
- Interact with customers, department managers, directors, executive personnel, and all other associates as necessary.
- Implement procedures that reduce waste and maintain efficient supply levels.
- Follow all plant and OSHA procedures including performing all duties safely and in accordance with all work and safety rules and established work and industry practices.
- Develop and promote a work environment of professionalism, high achievement, and personal growth among all associates.
- Perform all special duties assigned by management.
- Focus on all business-related efforts are and must remain that of promoting excellence in all Arandell products.
- Proactively protects our community and reduces our footprint on our environment by keeping focus on continually improving our products and environmental programs.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- HS Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Press operations in a printing environment.
- 3 years of management experience required.
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite.
