We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems to enhance production efficiency, improve product quality, and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process Design and Optimization :

Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, systems, and workflows.

  • Analyze production methods to identify and resolve inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to improve material flow and minimize waste.

Equipment and Tooling :

Specify, procure, and implement manufacturing tools, machinery, and equipment.

  • Ensure equipment and tools meet production needs and comply with safety standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
  • Documentation and Standards :

    Create and maintain detailed documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Quality Control :

    Collaborate with the quality team to monitor product quality and resolve defects.

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance practices to ensure consistent production standards.
  • Continuous Improvement :

    Lead and participate in initiatives to enhance product design, reduce costs, and improve manufacturability.

  • Use data analysis and statistical tools to identify trends and develop solutions.
  • Collaboration :

    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to support product development and manufacturing goals.

  • Provide technical support and training to production staff.
  • Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience : 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills :
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Work may involve exposure to manufacturing environments, including noise and temperature variations.
