Job Summary

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, maintaining the cleanliness of the workspace, and ensuring a positive experience for every customer. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, dining area, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and responding to their needs promptly.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in the food service environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Must possess valid food handling certification or be willing to obtain it upon hiring.
- A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively.

Pay: $16.66 - $18.00 per hour
