Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will help set the tone for our restaurant's hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Answer phone calls professionally, provide information about the restaurant, and take reservations as needed.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Ensure guests have water upon being seated and refill as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess area.
- Help bus tables when needed to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or feedback in a courteous manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and enhancing guest experiences.
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus, including familiarity with guest relations practices.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $16.66 - $17.50 per hour
