We are recruiting for a Logistics & Events Coordinator to join our team to strategically track, review, evaluate, and audit the logistics of the Facilities Department here at ACC. Additionally, the Coordinator supports the Facility Rentals Manager by overseeing the coordination and logistics of campus events across all locations. This role also involves creating event and meeting request forms, training college personnel on these resources, and ensuring accurate and timely communication across divisions, including Facilities, Campus Police, and Information Technology. Some responsibilities of this role includeFacilities Logistic SupportOversee and track area improvement requests/forms/systems to ensure requests are addressed in a timely manner and customers are informed of the status of their request by building out notifications. Coordinate furniture moves, office relocations, and other requests by meeting with customers to determine their needs and requirements. Evaluate available locations to identify the most appropriate space for their needs, recommend products and equipment, and provide estimates as applicable. Develop and maintain an accurate system to track space usage and specifications of each room which includes creating layouts, occupancy, furniture/equipment in that space, and specifications of each area.Manage the furniture and equipment inventory of the College by developing and maintaining a comprehensive auditing and tracking system. Event Management SupportCollaborate with the Facility Rentals Coordinator to support event planning, room scheduling, data entry, logistics coordination, and marketing of events.Assist with the rental operations for ACC campuses, working collaboratively with staff at all organizational levels to coordinate both internal and external events.Coordinate and assist with event setup, breakdown, and any other related duties as assigned which may involve moving furniture and equipment between ACC campuses.SignageDevelop, maintain, and enforce signage standards across all ACC campuses to enhance the experience of students, staff, and visitors while ensuring compliance with relevant State and Federal requirements such as ADA, fire code, biohazard, and others. Work collaboratively with Marketing, as appropriate, to ensure alignment with ACC branding standards.A strong candidate will lean into the following characteristics: Operational Coordination & Efficiency strengths – Ensuring smooth facility operations overseeing furniture inventory, space utilization, building signage, and streamlining workflows.Strong Problem-Solving Skills – Things don't always go as planned, venue change, missing equipment and furniture, or a logistical nightmare, you need to think on your feet and make magic happen.Excellent Communication & Relationship Management skills– You’ll be working with vendors, internal teams, faculty, employees, and stakeholders who all have different priorities. Ability to identify problems, determine accuracy, and relevancy of information, and use sound judgement to evaluate and make recommendations. Ability to organize work, set priorities, determine resource requirements, coordinate with other areas, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes.Experience managing multiple projects.Experience providing customer service. Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience working in a fast-paced environment under multiple points of direction PreferredTwo years of experience in logistics coordinationExcellent communication skills.
