Sushi Chef

We're excited to open the first Japanese sushi and hibachi restaurant in Fountain, Colorado! We are looking for highly motivated, conscientious, and talented waiters, waitresses, and cooks to be part of a dedicated team that strives to bring the highest quality of Japanese cuisine to the local area. At Arashi, we believe that food is a universal language. Food allows an exchange of culture, ideas, and camaraderie. Each culture has their own unique blend of staples passed down from generations and our family restaurant is no exception. At Arashi, we have combined traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern American twist to create a fusion of culture and flavor.

Adapting with Arashi:

To ensure the safety of all and to comply with the current local and national health guidelines, we will enforce masks to be worn by employees at all times. Frequent handwashing, wiping of menus and other high-touch items, and notifying the manager about any possible symptoms when appropriate are required. Let's all look out for each other during this unprecedented time.

Responsibilities:

-maintain regular and consistent work schedules (punctuality is highly valued!)

-ability to work flexible hours

-meet restaurant operating policies and standards including but not limited to cash handling, safety/security, and other protocols

-comply with Arashi's dress code

-ability to multitask and work efficiently

-treat all people with utmost respect and dignity

Qualifications:

-previous restaurant experience preferred

-Basic proficiency in writing and reading English

-work in a time-efficient manner and pace consistent with business volume/demands

-ability to learn/act quickly

-willingness to learn from others and teach their craft

-ability to work as part of a team and carry out oral/written instructions

-strong interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
