Job Summary

Arauco, a global manufacturer of forest products, is looking for reliable and enthusiastic members to join our Millwork team! If you enjoy working as part of a high energy team, Arauco is the right fit for you!

This is a Safety Sensitive Position

Position Responsibilities

Handling, stacking, and grading material up to 18ft in length and weighing up to 50lbs repetitively.

Wrapping and sub-bundling of material and stacking of millwork for shipment.

General cleaning of work area and surroundings.

Banding together units at the end of each production run.

Supporting other production roles as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High school diploma or equivalent required

Manufacturing or factory experience strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Have a good understanding of all our safety policies.

Have a focus on continuous improvement.

Strong written and communication skills.

Self-motivated and strong organizational skills.

Safety Requirements

Wear proper PPE at all times as required.

Be lock-out certified for the area.

Ensure the control room / area remains neat and clean.

Be aware of personnel working in the area.

Ensure Arauco exercises responsible environmental stewardship in all areas of our business.

Complete LASER for any upset condition or procedure

Perform housekeeping regularly and during downtime.

Actively participate and positively contribute to the safety program.

Report all safety incidents (including near misses)

Know the location of all fire equipment and how to use.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to complete repetitive tasks.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

While performing the duties of these jobs, the employee will be regularly exposed to work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; in and around construction environments; use hand tools / power tools and is around vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
