What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Electrician position at Arauco?
How does this role fit into the success of our organization?
- Installation, maintenance, preventive / predictive maintenance, setup, troubleshooting and repair of mill machinery.
- Provide electrical support and maintenance for hydraulics, pneumatics, hot oil systems, pumps, fans and conveyors.
- Replace : Motors (low voltage and high voltage), motor starters, sensors, and variable frequency drives.
- Provide troubleshooting of Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers (plc), associated I / O and control networks.
- Troubleshoot plant control instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters).
- Maintain mill power distribution system (480V, 575V, 4160V and 13.8kV).
- Document all work performed in the CMMS.
- Promote safe work practices including LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, etc
What are we looking for?

Demonstrated electrical and technical aptitude
Strong written and communication skills r
Collaboration is key to Arauco's success. This role requires collaboration with our Area Operator teams to be successful.
Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery.
