Key Account Manager II (KAMII)
SUMMARY :
Key Account Managers are vital to Rayconnect's strategy for addressing the challenges of rationalization and product life cycle reduction and maintaining AR Group's competitiveness in the global automotive market. They are responsible for tactical and strategic focusing on business development activities generating growing sales.
The purpose of the Key Account Manager II is to :
- Developing and executing targeted sales strategies, analyzing market trends, and building strong customer relationships with proven expertise, resulting in profitable growth revenue.
- Achieve effective sales growth for strategic market, product, and customer with penetration for diversification
- Generate new business growth with marketing initiatives and strategic plans with a hunting mindset.
- Ensure that Rayconnect is at the forefront of customers' minds when a fluid handling solution is required
- Enhance the value of Rayconnect's product portfolio and customer service for the benefit of both customers and AR Group members
- Support a portfolio of Key Accounts and other accounts as assigned
- Implement customer-focused sales and marketing tactics according to the Raymotion strategy
Under supervision, the Key Account Manager II assumes responsibility for product line sales and management of Key Accounts and other customer accounts as assigned. Seeks new business opportunities while renders significant technical advice on product applications, modifications and new developments to address specific customer issues. Coordinates and manages the customer commercial / business development requirements and acts as the customer representative within the organization. This position requires extensive knowledge of the organization's products, services and policies acquired with years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Expand and progress revenues and achieve agreed targets within new and existing client basesales & gross margin targets
standard product carryover, new product introduction targetsRegularly visit customers in person to build and enhance relationships, focusing priority on growth opportunities.Ability to conduct effective presentations and professional communication using strong relationship management skills in a self-motivated and goal-oriented approachTake responsibility for commercial negotiation, pricing policy, and long-term agreement implementationDevelop and manage a Key Account Plan and prepare sales reports / statisticsWork closely with Rayconnect management to implement a prospecting strategy in order to achieve penetration into areas currently untappedPrepare market data reports (trends, competition, customers, suppliers) with prompt reporting to the Business Development team, capturing the voice of the customerDrive new business sales and win new customer applicationsTake responsibility for sales forecasting and yearly budget definitionAssist in the implementation of sales promotion activities (presentations / demonstrations, in-house or external training)Work with the AR Group local sales network and with the customer global support organization to develop appropriate business strategies and establish relationships with all key influencers or decision makers at the T1s and OEM's level, especiallyCoordinate in-house resources and infrastructure to ensure a seamless delivery of products and services essential to the customer to insure their satisfactionThis individual has access to confidential and proprietary engineering, manufacturing, cost and financial information. The disclosure of such information could result in a loss of the organization's competitive edge in the marketplace. The individual will sign a confidentiality / non-compete agreement.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
5 to 10 years senior level sales experience with highly engineered products, preferably with fuel and thermal systems in ICE and EV applications of automotive and fluid connections and the willingness to acquire and develop technical know-how within the fluid handling product categoryAssociate's degree / 2-year university or college degree in business, engineering, or related business or technical discipline with a strong preference for a bachelor's degree / 4-year degree.Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills who can manage time and effectivenessLong-term relationship builder on a business level with a proven track record of steadily increasing sales year after year.Dynamic, self-driven professional, motivated and well organizedEntrepreneurial spirit and diplomatic negotiatorStrong, confidence-inspiring personality with the ability to motivate people.Strong team player.Capability of developing performance and motivation of staff members under his responsibilityAnalytical and conceptual skillsAbility to work under time pressure. Demonstrates good time management with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.Working knowledge of SAP, SalesForce and Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook tools).Working knowledge and utilization of Lean Enterprise, Direct Attention Thinking Tools, and Six Sigma principles.Training in negotiation skills and verbal presentations.Must operate an automobile responsibly and ethically.Must manage all financial functions in a responsible and ethical mannerFluent in EnglishMaster's degree in business administration, preferred.Master's degree in a technical field, highly desired.Bilingual in French, German, Spanish, or Chinese or other foreign language would be a plus.3-4 years experience in a similar position at an international or multisite level, desired.MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE USAAbout Us
