Field Engineer – ARB, Inc.
Summary
Primoris Electric, Inc. is a part of ARB, Inc. and we are seeking a Field Engineer to support ongoing and new, energy infrastructure projects across California.
The Field Engineer supports daily construction operations of the site under the supervision of Superintendent, Project Engineer, Project Manager or Site Manager by providing on-site technical oversight, engineering guidance and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Assists with preparation, review, and transmittal of project submittals and RFIs.
- Follows quality control procedures and inspection protocols to ensure that the design, specifications, and standards are understood by the craft.
- Troubleshoots technical issues that arise on-site and consult with engineers, subcontractors, and supervisors to develop and implement solutions to minimize schedule and cost impacts.
- Supports cost control with coding of timesheets and invoices.
- Tracks quantities and monitors progress of various work packages.
- Provides planning and scheduling input as required.
- Tracks and compile records of materials, equipment, and labor for any / all change orders and field orders.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports throughout the project.
- Attends project meetings to provide technical input and present recommendations to improve construction processes.
