Job Description
We are looking to add a motivated individual to our team in the role of Customer Support Specialist. This vital position requires an organized, action-oriented, flexible problem-solver, who can assist customers in expediting orders and correcting pre-sale queries. This is a full time (M-F), in person position, based at our Auburn, WA. office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Facilitating the pre-sales process through parts selection, answering vehicle specific inquires, tracking open sales orders, issue resolution, and overall customer service and support
- Resolving tickets representing consumer-generated technical requests or problems
- Participating in product training and new product launches
- Assisting the marketing team with the development of resources for the online knowledge base (Zendesk)
- Referring customers to published materials, secondary sources, and more senior staff when needed
- Answer frequent phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Process product returns - unpack returned merchandise, inspect package and product condition, and assess paperwork sent in with return instructions for proper return procedure
- Identify critical distribution issues and online technical issues and report them to the correct personnel
- Other related tasks as assigned
Experience/Skills:
- Automotive knowledge and experience highly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Courteous and helpful phone presence
- Strong customer-service skills
- Collaborative mindset
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and JDE software a plus
- Ability to work and thrive both independently and in a team environment
